OracleWorld, Copenhagen, June 26, 2002 - Laser-Scan announces today undertaking a technical assessment with Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), the world's leading design and digital content creation company, of Laser-Scan's product, Radius Topology.

This collaboration is in line with Autodesk's strategy to team up with key partners to offer unique, value-added applications on top of its GIS and Civil Solutions lines. Similarly, it is Laser-Scan's channel strategy to work with world-leading GIS vendors.

Radius Topology is an advanced spatial processing environment, which extends Oracle's latest technology Oracle9i and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and quality of spatial data handling in such an environment.

Customers using Oracle9i software and Autodesk GIS solutions, for example Autodesk Map Series and Autodesk MapGuide, can continue unchanged while Radius Topology works behind the scenes, automatically adding topological intelligence to data.

What's more, no specialist knowledge is necessary; Laser-Scan's Radius Topology will bring the advantages of GIS solutions, such as those offered by Autodesk, to all users within the IT environment.

Michel Rives, Manager, Sales Development & Strategic Partnerships for Autodesk Europe, Middle-East and Africa says:

"As a worldwide leader in GIS offering comprehensive desktop, web-based and mobile mapping software packages, the value to customers that can be potentially added through Radius Topology is exciting. We are pleased to be involved with Laser-Scan at such an early product phase."

Laser-Scan's Oracle Programme Director Steven Ramage comments:

"We're very pleased to be working with one of the world's largest geospatial companies. This assessment comes at a time when we are embarking on the initial phases of the Radius programme. Laser-Scan's objective is to provide Radius Topology as a natural extension for Autodesk and Oracle customers."

Steve Hagan, Vice President, Server Technologies, Oracle Corporation adds:

"Laser-Scan is a recognized leader in the delivery of robust solutions for topology management. Oracle9i Database and its Oracle Spatial features give Laser-Scan's new Radius technology the performance and flexibility for even the most demanding applications."
