Online project marketplace obtains corporate sponsorship and offers leading providers of GeoMedia-based solutions special membership privileges

ATLANTA, June 11, 2002 - GeoSpatial World 2002 - Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions announced today that it is collaborating with GISbid.com, the online GIS project marketplace, to offer special membership services for its Team GeoMedia Registered Solution Provider (RSP) and Registered Solution Center (RSC) members. Team GeoMedia RSP and RSC members provide software solutions in a variety of industries, and support Intergraph's suite of GeoMedia products. Team GeoMedia members will now be specifically recognized on the GISbid.com site and have access to project information from GISbid.com members. GIS project managers will have the option to make project information available to only Team GeoMedia members using the "Members Only" feature of GISbid.com. This feature will be useful for organizations that wish to restrict project bidding to professionals trained on Intergraph's GeoMedia technology.

"Intergraph will promote GISbid.com to its Team GeoMedia RSP and RSC members and encourage its patronage, but members are under no obligation to join," stated Bart Hoogenraad, global marketing director of Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions. "We think GISbid.com offers a unique opportunity for Team GeoMedia members to showcase their talent and expertise and highlight the technical advantages of GeoMedia technology."

Russ Tiensvold, chief executive of GISbid.com said, "We are very pleased to welcome Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions as a corporate sponsor. It demonstrates to the spatial information community that we have developed a valuable service that is being recognized by one of the top GIS providers in the world."

Team GeoMedia RSP and RSC members will receive a special membership code to gain access to the private workgroup area on the GISbid.com Web site. For more information about GISbid.com, visit the website. Information about Team GeoMedia can be found here.
